It has been a full summer of events, retreats and teachings, from a silent retreat at Buckhorn Springs in southern Oregon, to Radical Dharma Camp in the Colorado Rockies, to our annual Peace in Schools teaching team retreat in Portland! Below, we’ve posted some photos and reflections from a few of Caverly's summer travels.
Buckhorn Springs — Ashland, Oregon
“As a 75 year old woman who has been to many different retreats and followed various spiritual paths, this Resting as the Stillness of Being retreat has been most impactful, illuminating, and practical. The insights into my unexamined ways of being in the world guide and inspire true opening to the Love and Truth that I am. Deep gratitude.”
Radical Dharma Camp — Red Feather Lakes, Colorado
“My entire adult life has been dedicated to personal liberation. Radical Dharma has helped me clarify and articulate my commitment to collective liberation—my commitment to live a life that reflects the truth that personal liberation and collective liberation cannot be teased apart.
Here’s a tiny glimpse of the richness that was the largest Radical Dharma Camp to date, with almost 90 participants. The profoundness of this gathering still ripples within. Deep gratitude for the opportunity to have served and supported this retreat. And, deep gratitude for Rev. angel Kyodo williams and Dr. Jasmine Syedullah for their dedication to racial justice and the dharma. So many benefit. More than we can know.”
